JAZZ IS LIKE CHURCH-

On Friday November 7, 2008, Jeff “Tain” Watts and his new ensemble took the crowd at the Detroit Music Hall for the Performing Arts for one incredible ride. “Tain” led his new group of Jazz Youngsters as they were still working out kinks- but I must say, I could not sense any….All I know is that the saxophone player must work for NASA or the church , because he was making contact with something!!!…you can see it in the photos!!! For that evening I was there with them in that “place”, wherever we were, it was lovely. Beyond this world!!

Come see them tonight, Saturday November 8, at 10PM and Midnight. Fasten your seatbelts!
