    Boozhoo Brita!

Chi-miigwetch for posting your gorgeous photographs! When I look at them I am reminded of what powwow is all about: family, traditions, friends, fun, and the dignity and beauty of Great Lakes cultures. I have to say that this year’s powwow in Saline was my favorite Ann Arbor powwow ever. I felt so much safer being off campus and so much closer to the drum and the dancers and just the community at large. Props go out to the student powwow committee.

If you feel it’s appropriate, could you link to our blog about the repatriation issue that sent the powwow off campus this year? I’m a member of the Native graduate student group here, the Native Caucus. We were heartened by the many people who took our flyers, talked with us, and asked what they could to do help. “For now, read our blog, link it to yours, and post a comment” was our response.

We were wondering if we could use a couple of your gorgeous shots on our blog. We’ll definitely credit you and link to this site if that’s okay with you.

    Hi,

I’d like to ask you about permission to use one of your photos. Could you please send me your email address and I’ll give you more information? It is for a Univ. of Michigan publication.

    Thanks,
    Katie
